Cannock Chase High School is delighted with the successes of its students and is pleased to announce an increase in all of our headline measures including our 5 A*-C pass rate from 56% to 62%. With the national focus on progress, (how much value you add to students’ performance), Cannock Chase High Schools’ Progress 8 score, in comparison to last year’s national data, shows that this year students at Cannock Chase High School on average have made a third of a grade better progress than students nationally.
Cannock Chase High School Headteacher, Mr Iain Turnbull, said “I would like to congratulate all of our successful students. Staff and students have worked exceptionally hard to achieve these positive results. Behind these figures lie countless individual student success stories, including Lauren Pearce who made, on average in every subject, two and a half grades better progress than national and Jak Middleton, Alex Nickless, Sam Townsend, Frankie Catchpole and Owen Bradbury who all successfully achieved 7 or more GCSE A* grades. Cannock Chase High School is continuing its upward trend on academic progress for all our students.”
