Sixth Form Open Evening, December 2018

Our Sixth Form Open Evening will take place on Thursday 6 December 2018 at 6:30pm in the Upper School Hall. The evening is designed to inform students and parents about the provisions at Cannock Chase High School Sixth Form, as well as information about every course that we offer, to enable Year 11 students to make informed choices regarding their future in our Sixth Form.

The Sixth Form prospectus and course offer will be available at the evening.

There will be an opportunity for parents and students to attend subject presentations and speak to subject specialists.  There will be five separate sessions of presentations which last 10-15 minutes each.

Prior to the evening, we will provide you with a personal timetable confirming your selections.

In addition to the presentations there will be an Information Hub based in the Sixth Form Centre all evening.  Each Community will have an information point where you can speak to a representative, pick up additional course information or view exemplar work.

There will also be representatives from Cardinal Griffin Catholic College who will be available to answer questions regarding courses offered there that CCHS students can access.

A Careers Information Point will also be available where a qualified Careers Adviser will be on hand to answer questions regarding specific career pathways or alternative educational routes such as apprenticeships, as well as representatives from universities.

Refreshments will also be available in the Sixth Form Centre.
